Chessells in Africa:
Another day, another experience!
Last night we swam & watched the sun set on Tros aux Biches beach. Spectacular! As the sun set Stephen arrived with a large(really large) pot of Briani for our dinner so we dished up and sat on the beach eating as darkness fell.
Today saw us at a church plant in the Pastors home on the island for church which was in French & English for singing. Readings and sermon were in French so one of the young men sat between Keith & I and translated for us. The preacher cautioned his church about false teachers and how important it was to be encouragers. Afterwards we were treated to morning tea and lots of chatting with the attendees. Great to hear how they are growing and how they are working in their local community.
Following that service we drove to The regular church of S & K where we met some more beautiful people. We ate out at a Chinese restaurant with a group opposite a stunning beach. Sunday is family day so everyone was out. The beach was wall to wall extended families of every race. Right now we are having a quiet hour before eating once again. The weather is very warm and draining!
